Host of Disrupting Balance
Thank you so much for supporitng the podast!
Balance is a myth.
For years, I fought for balance.
If everything could have the best of me at all times - spouse, children, jobs, friends, etc - I would be perfect. After anxiety attacks, depression and other health issues, I stopped fighting for balance and started to flow with the inevitable imbalance. Finding harmony meant going to therapy, staying true to professional opportunities that served my vision, (not just my pockets) and unapologetically loving on myself.
I am Hanifa Barnes, and I am Disrupting Balance by finding harmony in the imbalance of work, well-being & the in between.
Hanifa Barnes, JD MBA has hosted 70 Episodes.
