A. Decker
Special guest
I go by the name A. Decker, I'm a proud black female Canadian, residing in Cambridge, Ontario. Born from British and Jamaican parents. I'm a wife and mother of 4 children. I've always had a love for art and fashion, but I was truly inspired to showcase my talent to the world during the beginning of this COVID19 pandemic. I realized how therapeutic painting and drawing felt, it has now become a daily routine.
My work is inspired by my heritage, my perception of beauty, strength, love, happiness and music. I love combining art with quotes, every piece I've created has meaning. I call my creativity Fine Art Funk.
I always say "Art brings me happiness, what doesn't make sense with spoken words, forms clarity when my paint brush touches the canvas."
As a survivor of domestic violence, it's important for me to give back to the Haven House Women's Crisis Service Centre. At one time, I resided there and I'm truly grateful for their Services.
